So my day has been...odd. I'm not sure if it has been good or bad or what.
So first thing in the morning I get up and notice that Marlow hasn't moved like he usually does during the night...so I poked him, and he was stiff. >.< I seriously wanted to cry. I have no idea what killed him. It could be the difficulties I've been having keeping his tank at a high enough temperature or the plant in his cage that I'm not sure of its toxicity. But seriously...he was fine this whole time and then suddenly he was dead! I feel horrible now and unless I can remedy both problems so I'm sure everything is 100%, I don' think I'll be getting another frog. T.T
So then I went to school and endured my bleh classes. Although in my career planning class I got to surf this awesome site where it shows you a career and then salary amounts for different counties in Washington as well as education needed, job openings right now, and job tasks. Strangely the careers that I liked the most were weird ones like a funeral directors assistant, librarian, forester, ect.
Also, in my writing class we were reviewing this story and written by a chick in our class and it was AMAZING. The writing style, characters, plot, it was all GREAT. I was totally fangirling over it!
So then I got out ate my lunch and called into work, but was told that this week was, "as slow as snot," so I didn't need to come in. I then got invited to hang out with my friend while she practiced piano.
I love classical music and she was pretty kick ass at it so it was fun...but we did spend most of the time talking so I hope I didn't hinder her practice too much.
Anywho, then I went home and started sewing on my Undertaker costume. That wasn't too hard but I'm still not finished. Then once my dad came home we went out thrift store hopping (mostly I wanted to go to this one that closes at five.) The first one was cool and I found a red angora cardigan for like $3 and some lace for my lolita overskirts. At the second store I found a brand new pair of cute black mary janes for like $6.
I was very pleased.
But then I did my taxes when I got home...and let's just say there is no reason to celebrate. It wasn't worth my time to file for what I'll be getting back...oh well.
SO, knowing that I have limited funds (because I'm trying not to spend any of my money reserved for Spring quarter books or my kansas tickets) I bought a new phone. I mean, I did super glue the antenna back onto my old phone and I can work around the failing battery for now...but I don't think it will last. So alas, I caved and ordered a new one.
So, I have no clue whether today was "good" or "bad" but I'm still enjoying myself and planning some shopping excursions to boutiques this weekend. (Pretty Parlor here I come!!!)
